Thailand Elite Visa (Privilege Entry)
The Thailand Elite (officially: Thailand Privilege Entry Visa) is a membership-based long-stay visa programme run by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Tourism Authority of Thailand). It provides 5, 10, or 20-year multiple-entry visa status with premium concierge services, bypassing the annual extension cycle entirely. Visa Centre assists with Thailand Elite membership applications and the onboarding process.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Thailand Elite is the right choice for foreign nationals who:
• Want to live in Thailand long-term without annual Immigration office visits
• Do not qualify for the LTR Visa (which requires higher income or investment thresholds)
• Prefer the simplicity of a one-time purchase rather than ongoing annual extension management
• Value the concierge services (airport meet-and-greet, limousine transfer, spa credits, hospital discounts) that come with membership
It is not the right choice for: people who need a work permit (Elite does not include work authorisation); people who frequently need to prove visa status to Thai government offices (the Elite card + membership letter serve this purpose but some bureaucracies prefer a standard immigration stamp).
MEMBERSHIP TIERS AND FEES (2024 STRUCTURE)
Thailand Privilege Card restructured its tiers in 2023–2024. Current tiers as of June 2025:
Privilege Entry — 5 years: THB 600,000 (~USD 17,000). Single person. 5-year visa, multiple-entry, 1-year permission to stay per entry.
Privilege Entry — 10 years: THB 1,000,000 (~USD 28,000). Single person. 10-year visa.
Privilege Entry — 20 years: THB 2,000,000 (~USD 57,000). Single person. 20-year visa.
Family packages: available at combined rates. Check thailand-privilege.com for current pricing as the programme has revised tiers and fees.
WHAT ELITE PROVIDES
• Long-stay visa valid for 5, 10, or 20 years — multiple-entry
• 1-year permission to stay per entry stamp (extended at Immigration, but with Elite concierge assistance — you do not stand in a queue)
• VIP airport services: fast-track Immigration, dedicated lane, limousine transfer
• Government concierge desk for 90-day reporting and annual extension
• Partner benefits: spa, golf, hospital, and dining credits
• No work authorisation — cannot legally work in Thailand under Elite alone
ANNUAL REPORTING
Elite members still technically need annual extension and 90-day reporting — but the Thailand Privilege Card company handles these through their concierge service as part of the membership. Members do not attend Immigration in person for routine renewals.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications are submitted to Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. directly. Visa Centre facilitates the application and document preparation. Processing: typically 30–60 days from application submission to membership approval. Membership starts from the date of first entry on the Elite visa.
HOW VISA CENTRE HELPS
We prepare your application documents, coordinate with Thailand Privilege Card, and advise on the tier that suits your stay timeline and usage patterns. For clients switching from an existing long-stay visa (Non-OA, Non-O) to Elite, we manage the transition timing.
